This code will be required in the future, for example, when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>filing a confirmation statement,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>becoming a Person with Significant Control (PSC),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>being appointed as a director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dlaczego-warto-zweryfikowac-tozsamosc\"><strong>Why It\u2019s Worth Verifying Your Identity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verifying your identity allows you to conduct business safely and legally through Companies House and prepares you for the required formalities in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-needs-to-verify-their-identity\"><strong>Who Needs to Verify Their Identity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verification is required for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>all directors, members, partners, and persons in control,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any Person with Significant Control (PSC),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), e.g., an accountant,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>anyone submitting documents on behalf of a company, e.g., a company secretary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"when-verification-is-required\"><strong>When Verification Is Required<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of June 2025, verification is not yet a legal requirement for many people. Deadlines depend on the role:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP)<\/strong> \u2013 from 18 March 2025, if you want to register as a Companies House agent, you must verify your identity. From 8 April 2025, you can register to verify your clients\u2019 identities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Director or Person with Significant Control (PSC)<\/strong> \u2013 from 8 April 2025, you can voluntarily verify your identity.
